Celebrating our company Town Halls

From LA to Boston, London to Barcelona, Tokio Marine HCC’s (TMHCC) CEO, Susan Rivera and President, Mike Schell have rounded off their global in-person Town Halls in celebration of the company’s 50th Anniversary. 50 news 3

The bi-annual Town Halls are always a key date in every TMHCC employee’s calendar, as they present an opportunity to gather together to recognize their role in making it the successful company it is today – but this year’s meetings were extra special as TMHCC looks back at five decades of underwriting excellence.

During the Town Halls, Susan and Mike provided an update on the current state of the business, a chance to look back on TMHCC’s rich history, and the plan for its continued success in the next 50 years and beyond.

In addition, senior leaders from each business unit were invited to join Susan and Mike to present their results. During their presentations, they took time to celebrate the achievements of their teams whose disciplined and laser-focused approach to underwriting and claims has allowed the company to sustain a market-leading performance throughout the cycle with consistent ratings and remarkable profitability.

Reflecting on the Town Halls, Susan said: “Over the past few months, I have enjoyed hearing updates from across the business at our TMHCC Town Halls. There was something special in the air everywhere I went, and I left each one feeling energized by my colleague’s expertise and enthusiasm.

“During these gatherings, I was joined by TMHCC’s passionate and devoted leadership team to celebrate our accomplished history. Our gifted people and their commitment to underwriting excellence has allowed us to expand and diversify our specialty portfolio and increase our resilience through disciplined underwriting and laser focus on adding value for our customers.”

“We also reflected on our company’s culture of excellence and culture of caring, a unique combination demonstrated at every stage of our 50-year journey and one we will strive to live up to for the next 50 years.”
