Tokio Marine HCC – Specialty Group, a member of the Tokio Marine HCC group of companies based in Houston, Texas, has strengthened its global broker proposition by incorporating its Crisis Management Insurance team into its International Division. The move makes it easier for intermediaries to access Tokio Marine HCC’s expertise and to discuss a broader scope of client needs through a single point of contact.

Tokio Marine HCC – Specialty Group has been writing Contingency and Disability insurance for over 40 years. The Contingency line includes event cancellation, short-term parametric weather, film & television, and prize indemnity covers. The Disability line focuses primarily on covering a variety of professional athletes such as footballers, basketball players, golfers and tennis players. Cover is also available for high-net-worth individuals.

 

The addition of the Crisis Management Insurance team, providing kidnap & ransom, maritime piracy and active assailant covers, gives the International Division of the Specialty Group a third line of business. All these specialty products give clients access to crisis management experts that can help them navigate the most complex situations and offer them peace of mind.

 

The Barcelona-based Crisis Management Insurance team is led by Doris Pajon, Senior Underwriting Manager, Crisis Management Insurance, and is perfectly situated to serve insureds at a global scale through its existing global network of brokers. The expanded International Division of the Specialty Group now has team members located in London, Barcelona, Paris, Brussels and Dusseldorf, further enhancing its truly international and multi-lingual proposition for brokers and their clients.
