Founded in 1879, Tokio Marine Group operates in Japan and 46 countries and regions worldwide, with 267 subsidiaries and 26 affiliates. Among the latter is Tokio Marine HCC, formed in 2015 after Tokio Marine Group acquired HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc. 

Japan Matsuri 2024 Event

Tokio Marine HCC’s (TMHCC) 50th anniversary year has been one of celebrations and recognition of past achievements. It is important for us as a company to share our heritage, as it helps build a unified identity across our international operations. 

A key event in our annual calendar is the Japan Matsuri held every year in London’s iconic Trafalgar Square. It’s a significant cultural event with centuries of tradition behind it but as you can see from the photos, it is also a huge amount of fun where everyone is encouraged to get involved and celebrate Japanese culture. 

As part of one of the world’s largest Japanese companies, we were delighted to once again sponsor the event and attend in force with representatives from across TMHCC and Tokio Marine Group present.
